Waste of research dollars
Uploading ....
Although billions of dollars have been wasted trying to rationalized General Relativity, no one has found a "practical use" for it.
As can be seen in today's news, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology said that if 40 percent of the heat under the United States could be tapped, it would meet demand 56,000 times over,
and that if the $1 billion wasted on ONE experiment to rationalize General Relativity were spent tapping this source, it would produce more than 100 gigawatts of electricity, equaling the combined output of all 104 nuclear power plants in the U.S.
Here we are, 100 years after the birth of General Relativity and it continues to generate more hype and heat than light and advances.
General Relativity is a Tower of Babel that wastes time, money and minds on such pursuits as time travel, worm holes, gravity waves, rubber rulers and clocks, and things beyond man's capacity to ever experience, like the birth and death of the universe, religious speculations based on a non-viable model.
Can you imagine the benefits to mankind, if some of the billions of dollars used to rationalize General Relativity were used for DNA research which has already brought mankind great advances in health care, crime solving and prevention, food production, reconstructing history, etc?
A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
