Google's Brave New World
Uploading ....
When a searcher pursues certain lines of research that the Google Management wants to shield from the public, Google frequently responds with the following message. =========================== "Google
Error
We're sorry...
... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.
We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google." ====================
End of Google's automatic side tracking algorithm's reply.
Freedom, justice, and equity cannot exist if a small group of people control:
1. The repository of data. 2. The folks who can access the data. 3. What data researchers are exposed to.
And what is more alarming is that Google not only controls the data repository, and who can access the data, and what data is presented to researchers,
but Google systematically censors folks whose ideas and opinions Google does not want the public exposed to,
and implies that the ideas and opinions of the people they target are tainted in some way.
Regarding Google's excuse to derail a researcher "To protect our users, we can't process your request right now."
How can processing a request from a researcher for data on some subject, "protect Google users"?
Before Google bought DejaNews, folks could quickly find exactly what they were searching for in the thousands of Usenet New Groups.
As can be seen, Google has effectivly hijacked Usenet, the last refuge of free speech and honest in the world,
and now, instead of getting an honest search as they did from DejaNews, Google "cooks the books" on Usenet searches, just as they do on Web searches, and they present to searchers what the Google Management wants them to see, rather than what the searchers is actually searching for.
As Google is constantly building profiles of what people post and read, and as this information can be fed to third parties by Google and used to intimidate, discredit and control American leaders, much as the Mass Media controlled American leaders during the last hundred years, it is clear that Google represents the greatest threat to Democracy that has ever existed.
As can be seen from a recent news story, at least one Google employee has used Google information to rey on young girls.
If a lowly employee can do this, imagine what the Google Management can do with the information they have on American Business and Government leaders.
Welcome to the Brave New World of Google!
